What are some coping skills that I can put into practice today to help?
Deep Breathing Technique is something simple and discreet that you can put into practice today. Deep Breathing is helpful with managing an array of emotions that come up. First sit comfortably, breath in your nose 4 seconds (deep enough that you can feel your belly rise up), then Hold that air in for 4 seconds, then exhale slowly from the mouth 6 seconds ( Do so the same manner that you would if you were blowing out a candle). Practice this for 2 to 5 mins daily or encompass it as needed.
